I am a British Jew.
I was born in London, and I now live in the East Midlands.
I have a full-time job, as well as my full-time hobby: fighting antisemitism.
Why I did this
I read the motion on the day it passed. It says that the belief that Jews, like any other people, have the right to self-determination in their historic homeland, a belief around nine in ten British Jews hold, is racism, and it binds a party that wants to govern this country to treat it as it would any other form of racism.
I did not want to argue about it online. I wanted to know, council by council, which of the people who represent us agree with it and which do not, and to make it easy for anyone to ask them. That is all this site does. It asks, and it keeps the answers.
I made this website, and I run it, as an individual. It has no financial backing of any sort.
No organisation is behind it. I have made many Jewish communal organisations aware that I am running it, and asked them to share it.
